What is Evergreen GoogleBot?
Googlebot, or the crawler that visits web pages to include them within Google Search Index, became evergreen with Chrome engine version 74. This means that the crawler will always be up-to-date on the latest version of Chromium, the open-source browser that Google’s popular Chrome web browser is built on.
More importantly, with this update, Googlebot will be able to crawl even the most modern websites, including ES6 and access thousands of features like the newer JavaScript features. Moreover, Google should be able to access and index more of your content without making special workarounds.

What does it mean for website owners, SEOs and content creators?
This means that we should focus more on creating useful content for our audiences and spend less time thinking about or working on technical procedures for Google to index our content. That doesn’t mean that you totally forget about how Google crawls and indexes your content, however. What it is important to remember is that from now on Googlebot will always be running the latest version of Chromium.
